Many filter housings are equipped with a differential pressure gauge. Normally, these differential gauges are indicators but can not be used as precise pressure gauges, nor have they been calibrated. The representative area of the pressure gauge is composed of two colors, green and red. When the pointer is in the green area, the filter element need not be replaced. Differential pressure gauge is neither a service indicator nor an indicator of air quality. It only shows the pressure difference roughly and indicates whether the filter element is blocked in advance. Because the filter fiber in the filter core becomes brittle during the use process, even a small hole will cause the filter medium to break, and the pollutants will enter the downstream compressed air system without filtration. If this happens, due to the small pressure difference between the filter and the filter, the pointer on the differential gauge will always be in the green area, and the filter element will not be replaced in time until the user finds pollutants downstream. After this happens, even if the filter element is replaced, there will be pollutants in the downstream pipeline for a long time.
